Tentang Fakultas Pariwisata
The Faculty of Tourism at Universitas Pancasila is located in the southern part of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Universitas Pancasila was the first private university to offer a bachelor’s degree program in tourism. The Faculty of Tourism was established in November 2008, marking a significant step in recognizing tourism as an independent academic discipline. The proposal to establish the Faculty received enthusiastic support from the university’s Rector, formalized in the Rector’s Decree No. 398/KEP.R/II/2008 on November 12, 2008. At around the same time, Himawan Brahmantyo, SE., MM, Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Tourism Higher Education Institutions (HILDIKTIPARI), sent a letter of recommendation to Prof. Dr. H. Fasli Djalal, Director General of Higher Education, DEPDIKNAS, to establish an academic bachelor’s program in Tourism. This recommendation, dated May 8, 2008, was documented in Letter No. DPP. HILDIKTIPARI/ KU/R/V/2008.
